![]() ![]() For each level gained, the inherent bonus of that Great Building increases, as well as the rewards paid to the top 5 donors. To level your Great Building, you need to contribute a specific amount of Forge Points to the building. Once the Great Building's requirements have been met and the foundation laid, it will be at level 0 and must be "leveled" to level 1 before granting benefits to the player. Great Buildings require 9 blueprints to construct. ![]() Unlike conventional buildings which require only coins / supplies, Great Buildings have requirements of goods and a full set of blueprints which must be collected before the Great Building can be constructed. Each Age offers two Great Buildings (with No Age, Early Middle Ages, Arctic Future and Oceanic Future having three Great Buildings each and Space Age Asteroid Belt, Space Age Venus and Space Age Jupiter Moon having one Great Building), each one with its own unique bonus, graphic and space required to build. (On the speedy players - not about what they do/don't spend - I'd guess that after successfully navigating 21 other eras they've probably got a pretty good idea of how to cut corners that need to be cut and I often wonder just how much of that is taken into consideration by the developers to try to keep it fresh and maybe even try to stymie us in some manner that still keeps the game balanced and true to form.Great Buildings are special buildings inspired by world history which can be built to provide powerful benefits to the player. I try to look at that the same way I look those who spend money on the events to get the most/best advantages - they are just breaking trail for folks like me who'll come along some day not to mention affording me the opportunity to play a game I really enjoy for as little or as much as I'm willing to spend. I know an awful lot of players who are the 'racer' types who seem to have the new eras down pat within days it seems. Not everyone who enters the newest of eras is bound and determined to get it all on the first day/week/month. None of them have enough goods but that begs the question, what is "enough?" I think it just comes back to the age-old question of playstyle.
